Take it like wussie

One star reviews from Amazon. You know people are reviewing things, like we're in some kind free world. Yugh

So let's review the review!

1984 (1948)

Author: George Orwell

“Don’t listen to anyone who tries to distinguish between “serious” works of literature like this one and allegedly “lesser” novels. The distinction is entirely illusory, because no novels are “better” than any others, and the concept of a “great novel” is an intellectual hoax. This book isn’t as good as Harry Potter in MY opinion, and no one can refute me. Tastes are relative!”

Putting Orwell and Harry Potter in a same review isn't always a wise thing to do. Sure Harry Potter readers are hip and that they can read. But hey it isn't because you can read that you're intelligent. No go back people get back on your broom and leave this book alone, if you want a story with dragons and witches then you just read your mind numbing HP.

On the Road (1957)

Author: Jack Kerouac

“This book gets my nomination for the most overrated book in American Literature. It is trite, saccharine and false. The themes and insights it contains are not even good enough to be third rate. Moreover, as a prose stylist, Kerouac was probably fourth rate. In short, I despise this piece of [garbage] and would advise all of its hipster doofus fans to lose the tie-dye clothes and throw away their bongs. Maybe then they will read something good for a change.”

I think that this one is just pure sarcasm, if you can't find the beauty in Kerouac, then your idea of American Literature is the menu of McDonalds.

Anyway enough book talk, check it out for yourself.

Singing through the megaphone

This just a short update. For those of you who all got tired of looking to the same boring google as your homepage. Well change it!Awesomestart allows you to make your own page. With a google engine and your favorite theme. I got the arcade fire one. But for you die hard Britney Spears fans don't you worry about a thing it is there too. Everbody is there from Bright eyes (don't get me started on him rrrr!) to The Used (I'm not even going to bother spilling anywords on them ).But also bands who are bit more ace like tegan and sarah and the cribs.

The Kills - Restaurant Blouse

My love for the kills is endless, and on this track they're sounding like Suicide, in the old days, and Velvet Underground in their White Heat/White Light time.
