Live from the sea

What's on Mr. Warhol his stereo?
DFA#2 Compilation EP
The coolest electro tunes from NYC. LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture and others are making Randy his shiny ass move.

Kings Of Leon - Aha Heartshake break LP
2nd album from the boys out of Tenessee. Expect more Television riffs, but don't you all worry. Caleb still got all the nicest OOOh, AHAHs of the South, partner!

DJ Tripp his Octoberremix disc 2 Download
Forget about 2 Many Dj's DJ Tripp is mashing things up and his lastest cd is the nice proof that the mash genre is bigger than just the two Ghent Brothers.

The Undertones - Teenage Kicks LP
Yer, mr Peel to you we salute!

The Playwrights - Guy Debord Is Really Dead Now EP

2nd EP, sound like Radiohead talking about The (I)NC while Hot Heat Heat is passing by to drop a bass line of. Yes they are the most inovative thing since the invention of the lucifer for your molotovcocktail. Situationism isn't getting groovy with this band. It is getting arty farty but that is a start.

The Codoass /The Hives AB Concert 29/10/2004
The CodoaSS

Yes what if Franz Ferdinand and The Rapture maid? Yes then Codoass would be their love child. Although this sounds good on paper. In real life they get nobody moving at all. And everybody was watching their watch, although they had some good tunes, but not good enough to impress mr. Warhol.

And then The Hives
The Ayatollaha's of rock and roll ass. Start with their punk anthem Abra Cadaver and continueing their blitzkrieg by directly hitting the crowd with Antidote.
Their songs are always perfectly played and yes it is a perfect glued show. Where almost nothing can go wrong. Even if a microphone goes blank in 2 seconds Pelle gets a new one.
Everything with the hives is one big show and their not a ashamed to pull off the best show around. The only negative thing you can say is that everyone has their little role and they never get out of it. But that is just nitt picking compared to the 1hour and a half punk rock adventure they tored us into.

They played everything from their latest album 'Tyrannosaurus Hives' except personal favorite Love In Plaster.
It was a special night for the hives because their was a try-out for their forthcoming DVD. They came back for an encore where they shook everything up for just a last time. A K A I-D-I-O-T yes that is me. And I'm glad to be one.
