The Kings Of Leon 4/10/2004 AB Brussel Box
After the Mooney Suzuki cancelling for no particular reason and hearing DJ Kutt playing the most boring guitar tunes since JonBonJovi last brought out an album, Mr Warhol was finally treated with a dosis of YEHA rock'n'roll.

Mr. Warhol didn't assumed the Kings Of Leon would have change much to last time he saw them at Pukkelpop, maybe that everybody in the band turning into Nick Valensi of the strokes. Anyway after 45 minutes of rock'n'roll à la Southern Version of television Mr. Warhol came to the conclusion that they didn't change much to their Pukkelpop playlist. With an equal amount of old and new songs they conquered the hearts of everyone around. But it wasn't if their were a lot of new fans around, in fact there weren't many fans around aswell. But the Kings Of Leon didn't care, they eve thanked the audience for their better behaviour (Last year was a dude in the audience interruping the show and yes ruining the show for the rest of the audience because the K of L got pissed off. But actually there still was a drunken man in the crowd who tried to climb on stage but mr. Warhol got all his wussie powers together and threw him down. But back to the music. The Kings Of Leon have improved as a band. They might have a wanky start after 3 songs they were good and rolling.
Songs like Calfornia Waiting and Red Morning Light are true hit tunes and sound like a musical journey all the way down to Tenessee, if they could only give the same vibe to the new songs who are basically stronger than the old ones then you can say that they made it as a band but for now it was a nice and wonderfull show but they still have some work to do.

Next stop Wonderland...
Some people are easily upset, some people don't go to shows they should have go to. Like flower Leaf Girl all time fan of Tom Waits but nooooo she didn't go tonight because there was some dude who wanted to have some weird contact with her. What is the prob sex + rock'n'roll no need for drugs then!
